How is this different from remove.bg?

remove.bg charges $0.11–0.20 per image. BackgroundX charges $0.05. We're built specifically for marketplace listings — pixel-compliant exports for Amazon / Shopify / Etsy come standard at Tier 1, batch upload is first-class, and we're priced for sellers running 200 SKUs not 5.

What model do you use?

BRIA's `remove-background` as the default — it placed #1 in our 21-candidate human Borda-count benchmark on 32 e-commerce test images. Four other named pipelines are available for reprocess if the default misses an edge case.

What happens if a result looks bad?

Your credit is automatically refunded. Or use one click to reprocess with a different pipeline (first reprocess is free; additional reprocesses spend a credit). Tier 2 adds a conversational agent that picks the right pipeline based on a plain-English description of what went wrong.

Is there an API?

Public REST API ships in Tier 1 (~2–3 weeks post-launch). One endpoint to start: `POST /v1/extract`. JS + Python SDKs follow in Tier 2.

Where are images stored?

Cloudflare R2, encrypted at rest, served over HTTPS only. Free tier: 7-day retention. Starter: 30 days. Delete-on-demand ships in Tier 1. Result library is browser-only — we never share or train on your photos.
